A Timber Frame Barn Restored As A Home in Glenn, MIWe restored and erected this four bent 38ft x 46ft white pine barn that was originally built in 1884. This barn was converted into a beautiful home that overlooks Lake Michigan. Experimental high density foam panels from Fischer SIPS were used to enclose this frame. There is a magazine article about this home that was published in the November/ December issue of Cosmopolitan Home Grand Rapids Magazine. which shows many pictures from the completed house.
