An Altona, Illinois Timber Frame Home

This saltbox frame was raised in the fall of 2002. Mixed oak timbers were used for the majority of the structure, along with ash, walnut and cherry. We also installed two knee braces fabricated from timbers salvaged from a barn the owner's great-grandfather built.
