An Iowa City, Iowa Timber Frame Home

This Craftsman style home near Iowa City was constructed of white oak timbers with black walnut curved braces. The owner, an arborist, hand selected a white oak trunk to be used in his home as a post. Other timber framing accents include a front entry and open tread staircase. We enclosed this home with panels from Fischer SIPS.
