Latham, IL Log Cabin Restoration

We disassembled this 1830's settlement cabin, transported it to TDTW and will be rebuilding the walls in our fit up yard. Repairs will include replacing any of the deteriorated timbers with new hewn white oak timbers. The cabin was built with half dove tail joinery. Once all repairs, replacements and assembly have occurred here at the shop, we will transport the cabin back to Latham, IL. The original roof will be reinstalled with a crane as well as the original loft floor.
