Historic Timber Frame Preservation
Much of our restoration work in Illinois and the Midwest centers on historic building restoration services, including commercial building restoration, barn restoration and cabin restoration projects. Our staff of trained Journeyman and Apprentice timber frame carpenters takes great pride in re-creating timber frame structures and restoring existing buildings to ensure that they will be utilized and appreciated for generations to come.
Trillium Dell Timberworks has completed more barn restoration projects, log cabin restorations, and public building restorations and replications throughout Illinois and the Midwest than any other timber frame company. Through years of successful projects we have earned a reputation as the most efficient, cost effective, and qualified crew of timber frame restoration carpenters in the country. We have completed projects around the continent and our in house staff of designers, engineers, and project managers helps to ensure every project undertaken by Trillium Dell is a success.
Commercial Timber Frame Construction
Trillium Dell Commercial timber frame structures are hand built with craftsmanship and pride by our highly trained carpenters. Virtually anything is possible with our Illinois based shop. Located in the heart of the country we have access to any species of wood needed for specialized or engineered projects.
For many of our highly engineered projects we work with glulam’s, kiln dried fir and southern yellow pine. Installation of our timber frame structures by our crew is available anywhere in the world. We are members of a Federal Department of Labor approved apprenticeship training program through the Timber Framers Guild and our carpenters have completed all OSHA approved safety courses for shop and site work.
Our products and services include project management, general contracting, metal fabrication, installation, frame fabrication, design and engineering. Our experience in commercial and public projects is unparalleled.
